Cuts by Them requires all clients to mask during their appointment to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Flu, and other illnesses.
As a small business owner I have a duty to protect my clients (especially my disabled, immunocompromised, chronically ill, and Long Covid clients) from the spread of COVID-19 to the best of my abilities. I continue to mask at work everyday, if I am sick I do not work until I have recovered and it is safe. I have masks available upon request in my suite.
If you or anyone in your household has been sick in the 7 days prior to your appointment, please do not come in. Cancel your appointment and/or contact me as soon as possible. If you come in for an appointment and show signs of illness, I will ask you to leave and reschedule you once you are well again. I do this not only for my sake but the sake of my other clients.
I recognize the need for indoor spaces, especially small ones like my suite, to utilize adequate air purification systems to minimize airborne contaminants like viruses. I run a HEPA air purifier continuously during appointments to further protect at-risk clients.
Disclaimer: Please note that my suite, although private, is located inside a shared public space with many other suites, and I cannot enforce any masking policies for any neighboring businesses or anyone using the shared spaces including the hallways, lobby, and public restrooms. The best way to protect yourself from contracting COVID-19 or Flu is to get vaccinated annually, continue masking in public spaces, and to test regularly. I have plenty of free Covid-19 tests available!
